Automobile enthusiasts and representatives from different companies attended the Car Show in Pittsburg to observe both past and present automobile concepts. They gathered to promote and meet potential clients. Classic cars were showcased last Aug. 2, 16, 30, and September 6. The live band also performed to entertain the audience and add life to the event. The event was a success, something for the auto-journalists to write about.
You might’ve missed the after School theatre Program, Aladdin and Annie, last Sept 18 and “The Best Intentions” last September 22, 8 p.m. But you can still make it by going into “The Pittsburg Fishing Derby at New York Landing” on September 29 and 30 (Saturday and Sunday).

Their chickens are all fresh and natural without the hormones. They take pride in their cheese made up of 100% sheep milk and Falafel as a great source of protein and fiber, freshly ground with spices and herbs.
This is one of the interesting Pittsburg California events. You can drop by in the place and see produce, crafts, locally-made merchandise, jams and jellies, and baked goods. The place was opened until October on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The market is a producer-only. This means that everything being sold here is either grown, created, and sold by the vendors themselves. The vendors in the market are based within a radius of 75 miles. It’s a great place to be.
This is the only independent bookstore in Pittsburg, located downtown. They offer very very affordable books, greeting cards, even sports apparel, various types of gift items. You definitely have to pay them a visit with your kids. Set your kids to attend a book depot every 4th Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.
Owned and operated by Pittsburg Arts and Community Foundation, Railroad Book Depot’s purpose was to promote the literacy, the visual and performing arts for the kids. You can see the book clubs when you visit their website Railroad Book Depot.
Coach Parker has been helping different communities in encouraging kids of all ages to make a difference in their lives with football. This proved to be helpful as the kids become more productive and learned the sport. It also adds something to look forward to the kids and develops their social skills while keeping the community busy supporting the league.
The said festival was a success. You almost made it to the Music festival. You’re just gonna wait for the next one. It was a day of celebration where people listen to great band performances and enjoyed loads of seafood. The festival happened last September 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
The festival began in September 1984, Landing District of New York. many dedicated volunteers and the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce collaborated to host the very first festival in the hopes to attract visitors and have a great time while eating seafood in the city. It successfully drew a lot more than expected. Since then, the celebration has become larger over the years. It is known to be one of northern California’s best festivals.
The vendors participating in the festival were screened carefully. The seafood has free samples from clam chowders, lobster rolls, calamari, shrimp creole, and seafood gumbos. The celebration included Jet Ski Races, Carnival Zone, Beer, Sports Pavillion, Petting Zoo and the four Stages of Continuous Entertainment, and two days of seafood! Everyone was invited for an experience in a waterfront setting that was filled with great food, music, and fun with the family. The festivals usually attract over 20,000 visitors with free parking and shuttle service.
And with over 100 exhibitors sponsored by different organizations and restaurants, everyone has one thing in mind – to feature the best interpretation that Pittsburg has to offer. Both locals and tourists had a great time!
